Design Driven Innovation- THE GREENTEAM

Group project of the bachelor Industrial design at the tu delft

This project I did together with 4 other students in my second year of my Bachelor Industrial Design. This is quite some time ago, but this was the first time I realised the value of understanding the context and how to design intended interactions.

We had the task to develop a proper strategic design direction in consultation with a client. We had to develop a vision for the company and to translate this to a concept product that is meaningful to people.

We worked for Greenpeace. To find a broad context relevant for the company through applying the Vision in Product design method. This method was a valuable learning aspect of this project. One of the directions we started to develop was the communication about trust.

During the project the focus was about designing the intended interactions by totally understanding the context. I mainly focused on visualising the progress and the end concept. I made the prototype in Photoshop, Illustrator and Axure. During this project I discovered a new direction of design; Developing a design strategy by focusing on the context by using the Vision in Product design method.
